Congratulations on submitting your first assignment.

I think it’s great the way you have listed each of the elements and principles and written how each of these is used for your selected spaces. This is a great approach that ensures you address all of the elements and principles to determine harmony in the design and I can see you understand how they work.

The elements are the basis of any design and the principles are how these elements are used. You will constantly be referring to the elements and principles in this course and in the future as an interior designer.  As a designer it is important to understand each of these elements and principles as a tool to determine whether a design works or not, and know how to apply these tools in your own designs.

Continue practicing the techniques that this assignment is aiming at identifying. You can do this by continuing to look at existing spaces and working through the elements and principles.
After a while, from looking at these precedents and practicing these skills, you will develop an understanding of whether a design works or not and what impact the various elements and principles have on a space, and that will help you to create your desired mood in projects you work on in the future.
